Open Air Theatre presents HELLO, DOLLY! directed by Timothy Sheader and choreographed by and choreographed by Stephen Mear, collaborators on last year's hit, Gigi. The San Francisco Playhouse, BlueRare Productions, and PlayGround team to present the SF Playhouse's critically acclaimed production of Abraham Lincoln's Big Gay Dance Party, by Aaron Loeb, directed by Chris Smith, as part of the13th Annual New York International Fringe Festival, thus furthering an SF Playhouse goal to deliver productions that can succeed on a national level. Performances will be held at HERE Arts Center (Mainstage Theater - Venue #17), 145 6th Avenue (between Spring and Broome).

Florida Studio Theatre kicks off its 2009 summer season with A Marvelous Party! The Noël Coward Celebration. Variety called it 'Energetic...Outstanding.' You are invited to a party! A dazzling evening of ravishing melody and witty repartee, A Marvelous Party draws from Noël coward's songs, plays, and journals in an effervescent revue. Songs include 'Mad About the Boy,' 'I'll Follow My Heart,' 'I've Been to a Marvelous Party' and more. A Marvelous Party! The Noël Coward Celebration begins June 3rd.
Theatre Works' New Show OVER THE TAVERN Opens 5/15

Theatre Works is set to present Tom Dudzick's Over the Tavern. This Connie Anderson-directed show will be performed May 15 at 8:00pm, May 16 at 8:00pm, May 17 at 2:00pm, May 22 at 8:00pm, May 23 at 8:00pm, and May 24 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $18 (general admission) and $15 for seniors 62 and older and children 12 and under. A season subscription costs $48 (just $12 per show).

Center Rep Announces 43rd Season 10/3/09-6/26/10

Center Repertory Company?s Artistic Director Michael Butler unveiled the company's 43rd subscription season. Running from September 3, 2009 to June 26, 2010, the season will be expanding Center Rep?s programming to include eight productions to be performed in all three theatres of the Lesher Center for the Arts. From the suspense of Agatha Christie to the music of Elvis Presley, Center Rep?s 09-10 season will delight audiences while also featuring the works of Caryl Churchill, No?l Coward, Reduced Shakespeare Company, Michael Frayn and five-time Emmy Award nominee Harold Gould. ACT Artistic Director Kurt Beattie announces six Mainstage plays for ACT - A Contemporary Theatre's 2008 Season, to start March, 14 2008. ACT will utilize both the Allen Theatre, an arena theatre with seating in-the-round, and the thrust-style Falls Theatre during the 2008 season.
