Manny Kladitis, Jeffrey Chrzczon, Terry Schnuck, Kathleen K. Johnson, Jack Lane, Radio Mouse Entertainment, Schaffert/Hummel, Driemeyer-Sills Productions, David Gersten, Erach Screwvala, and The Shubert Organization, by special arrangement with Cranberry Productions, today announced the cast for the New York Premiere of the hit comedy whodunit Shear Madness. SHEAR MADNESS Receives 2014 Moliere de la Comédie

Shear Madness producers Marilyn Abrams and Bruce Jordan have announced the French production of the international phenomenon, Dernier Coup de Ciseaux is the 2014 recipient of the Moliere de la Comedie (the FrenchTony Award). Accepting the award June 2 for the French production was director Sebastien Azzopardi, who trained under Jordan prior to opening at Paris' Theatre des Mathurins in 2011.

Take the broadest physical humor and bad puns you can find, mix together with a half baked murder mystery and throw in enough current (and not so current) pop culture and local city references to choke the Mariner Moose and what do you have? You have "Shear Madness" currently playing at the Moore Theatre or as I call it one of the worst touring shows I've seen in the area since the 3 Redneck Tenors inflicted their 15 minutes of fame on Tacoma.
