Producer Lida Orzeck and Executive Producer Eva Price are pleased to announce the New York premiere of the new play, 20TH CENTURY BLUES, from Susan Smith Blackburn Prize-winner and two-time OBIE Award-winning playwright Susan Miller (My Left Breast). Street performer and movement theatre artist Dustin Curry will present the world premiere of the wordless storytelling play "Fiddler's Cave" at this year's Festival of Independent Theatres (FIT). The play, inspired by Ozark Mountain folklore, tells the tale of a lonely fiddle player who finds himself lost and abandoned deep in a cave, with no memory of how he arrived there. Through music, clowning and a bit of theatrical magic, the Fiddler must search his past for answers in order to find a way home.

The Public Theater announced today that three final performances have been added to the critically acclaimed New York premiere of Latin History for Morons, created and performed by John Leguizamo. Directed by Tony Taccone, this fiercely funny, satirical one-man show was inspired by Leguizamo's observation that Latinos are essentially invisible in the standard American history curriculum.
