Camp Broadway®, Broadway's Original Summer Camp, is presenting three five-day musical theatre camps for children ages 6-9, 10-13 and 14-17 at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts during July and August 2010. New facility owner and producer, Bill Hanney invited Camp Broadway® to offer its acclaimed program at the theatre this summer as the first step in his long-range commitment to restore quality theatre arts programming for young audiences. Showtunes Theatre Company presented their first concert production in their new home at Seattle's Moore Theatre with the seldom produced, "Follies" from Stephen Sondheim. But then, that's what Showtunes does and does well. Take musical theater gems that for one reason or another don't see as much action as they should, and put on wonderful staged concerts of them. And their outing with "Follies" was no exception.

Actress/singer/dancer Lesli Margherita is a super talented artist. She's been in The Grave White Way, Beehive, Zorba for Reprise!, among many other shows. And...she's already won an Olivier Award (Great Britain's Tony) for Featured Actress in a Musical - unusual for an American artist - and is currently finishing up her run in the controversial world premiere of Michael LaChiusa's See What I Wanna See on Sunday May 30 at the Blank Theatre. On Tuesday June 8 she will perform her acclaimed one-woman show All Hail the Queen once more for one night only at Level 3 in Hollywood. We talked about her theatrical successes here and abroad.
