As announced during tonight's telecast of ABC's “Dancing with the Stars,” famed radio DJ, comedian and best-selling author Bobby Bones is set to join “American Idol” as the show's in-house mentor. Last season, Bobby joined the Top 24 Idol hopefuls as they prepared to take the stage with their all-star celebrity duet partners. In his expanded role this season, the award-winning personality will offer his industry expertise throughout the competition, helping contenders reach the next level of their artistry and performances.

The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at Showbox SoDo in Seattle Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 PM featuring performances by Bailey Bryan, Barry Dean, Sam Palladio and Cassadee Pope. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series wrapped the second-annual U.K. and European tours with a final show in London, England. Stops on the European tour included Stockholm, Oslo, Hamburg and Amsterdam before heading to the U.K. for shows in Glasgow, Liverpool, Gateshead, Manchester and London. Featured artists on the tour, that ran from Oct. 8 – 22, included Kassi Ashton, Ashley Campbell, Chris DeStefano, Tenille Townes, Drake White and Charlie Worsham.

American Idol winner and Hollywood Records/Industrial Media's 19 Recordings recording artist, Maddie Poppe, has announced her highly-anticipated next single, “Keep On Movin' On,” due for release October 26th. The song was written by Jarrad Kritzstein (Kate Nash, Weezer), Brandon Lowry (Brittney Spears, Elle King) and Hillary Lindsey (Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini). The release marks her first original music since her Idol release, “Going Going Gone.” Maddie will perform the single for the first time on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan on October 26th.

The trio will perform LIVE from Nashville at the 9th annual “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” special on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Some of music's biggest stars are set to present at the event, including Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Smokey Robinson, singer-songwriter Elle King, Hillary Scott, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with a special introduction by platinum-selling artist, Trisha Yearwood.
