The Country Music Association has revealed the initial artist lineup for this year's CMA Fest, which features hundreds of Country Music artists performing on multiple stages throughout downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 6-9. CMA Fest is a one-of-a-kind festival with artists donating their time to perform so a portion of ticket proceeds can directly benefit high-quality music programs across the country through the CMA Foundation. A limited number of four-day passes for the nightly performances at Nissan Stadium are still available at CMAfest.com or through the CMA Box Office at 1-800-CMA-FEST.  

Music mogul DJ Khaled is set to host Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2019, the biggest, slimiest party of the year for kids, broadcasting live Saturday, March 23, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) from the Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The news, which also included this year's nominees, was announced today by Double Dare host Liza Koshy via a first-time Kids' Choice Awards nomination livestream event across Nickelodeon's YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter handles and channels.

The Country Music Association honored the songwriters behind Country Music's biggest hits at the 10th annual CMA Triple Play Awards Tuesday, Feb. 19 during an intimate, industry luncheon at Marathon Music Works in Nashville. CMA Triple Play Awards recipients were honored for having penned three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period based on the Country Aircheck, Billboard Country Airplay and Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

iHeartMedia announced today the return of the annual star-studded iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 20 and 21 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and its Daytime Stage, which will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds Saturday, Sept. 21. The Daytime Stage will feature live performances by both popular and emerging artists including first-revealed performers Juice WRLD, Maren Morris, Billie Eilish, Old Dominion, Zara Larsson, CNCO, Brett Young, FLETCHER and Monsta X, with more to be announced. The evening performance lineup for the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival will be announced at a later date.

ABC is rolling out the red carpet, showcasing a 30-minute promotional special “American Idol: A New Journey Begins” on Oscar Sunday, FEB. 24, ahead of the highly anticipated award show. In the special, host Ryan Seacrest sits down with judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie to discuss the return of the iconic series and share a preview of this year's crop of new talent. Additionally, the panel will answer fan questions and share behind-the-scenes secrets. The special will join the previously announced “Whiskey Cavalier” sneak preview in rounding out a star-studded Oscar Sunday.

The Academy of Country Music announced today the nominees for the 54TH ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, Country Music's Party of the Year®, honoring country music's superstars and hottest emerging talent. Iconic entertainer and sixteen-time ACM Award® winner Reba McEntire will return to host LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.

The Music Business Association (Music Biz) will present three-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist Darius Rucker with its Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award during the Music Biz 2019 Awards & Hall of Fame Dinner on Tuesday, May 7 at the JW Marriott Nashville Hotel at 7:30 PM Rucker is being celebrated for his lifelong philanthropic efforts that include exemplary and heartfelt work on behalf of children.

Last summer, the "American Idol" bus visited 24 cities across the nation in search of a superstar. As previously announced, viewers at home will be able to follow the inspiring journey starting SUNDAY, MARCH  3 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, when the first crop of Idol hopefuls audition for their shot at a ticket to Hollywood. The cross-country audition tour will move forward with an all-new episode on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), rounding out a talent-filled premiere week. New episodes will continue on Sunday, starting MARCH 10 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), and adds Mondays for five consecutive weeks, starting MARCH 18 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT).

The Country Music Association's new international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, will join the C2C lineup in Berlin and Amsterdam. Lindsay Ell, Lauren Jenkins and Logan Mize will open the first C2C Berlin at the Verti Arena Berlin with a mainstage performance on Saturday, March 2 and follow up with a performance as part of C2C Amsterdam at AFAS Amsterdam on Monday, March 4. Following the stops in Germany and the Netherlands, a second Introducing Nashville lineup will visit multiple cities in Australia, as well as Auckland, New Zealand and Tokyo, Japan. “American Housewife” will air two special music-themed episodes this spring. The “American Idol” episode, airing TUESDAY, MARCH 19 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EDT), includes special appearances by music industry forces and the superstar judges of ABC's “American Idol,” Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, along with Emmy® Award-winning host and producer Ryan Seacrest. The episode follows Taylor's (Meg Donnelly) dream of becoming a musical superstar. Katie (Katy Mixon) and Greg (Diedrich Bader) are skeptical when Taylor announces she will use her college fund to travel to Los Angeles, audition for “American Idol,” wow the judges and become an overnight sensation; but Taylor's passion is undeniable.

The Country Music Association, which recently announced its new international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, has added back-to-back performances at Blue Note Tokyo in Japan on Saturday, March 30 featuring Brandy Clark, Devin Dawson and Lindsay Ell. Prior to Japan, Introducing Nashville will visit multiple cities in Australia and New Zealand with Clark, Dawson, Ell and Tenille Townes (Australia only).
