Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts announces the success of the 25th Annual Summer Gala, celebrating Bay Street's Silver Anniversary, which took place in Sag Harbor on the Long Wharf on July 9, 2016 to benefit Bay Street's theatrical, educational and community programs. The evening included a special performance of scenes from productions from the past 25 years directed by Will Pomerantz, as well as a silent auction, cocktail party, Live 'Fantasy Auction,' dinner and dancing. Broadway Records today announced the release of The Raven (from 'Nevermore') [Remix] - EP, an extended play recording containing three versions of the song 'The Raven' from the gothic opera Nevermore - The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe, written and composed by Jonathan Christenson: a Single Version of the song as performed on the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording of Nevermore, a Club Remix version, and a Radio Remix version. Both remixes were created by DJ and music producer Julian Marsh.

Megan Hilty will star in New York City Center's annual Gala Annie Get Your Gun: In Concert, a one-night-only performance of the classic Irving Berlin musical, on October 27, 2015. Directed by Tony Award winner John Rando, the Gala will feature The Encores! Orchestra led by Encores! Music Director Rob Berman. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. The event will help fund New York City Center's artistic and education programs.

Jenni Barber, Quentin Earl Darrington, Bradley Dean, Dan Fogler, Ana Gasteyer, Josh Lamon, Aaron Lazar, Alyse Alan Louis and Rema Webb will join the previously announced Jonathan Groff in the Encores! Off-Center production of William Finn and James Lapine's A New Brain, running June 24 - 27, 2015. The production will be directed by James Lapine, with choreography by Josh Prince.

The producers of Nevermore - The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe announced today that an Original Off-Broadway Cast Album will be released on Broadway Records in June 2015. Producers of the Tony Award winning musical Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, Robyn Goodman, Jill Furman and Stephen Kocis, announce that actress, talk show host and recording artist Keke Palmer will make her Broadway debut by stepping into the title role on September 9, 2014, thus making history as the first African-American Cinderella on Broadway. Actors Equity honored CINDERELLA with their award "Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway" in 2013.

The Emmy and Golden Globe nominated star Fran Drescher ('The Nanny') will extend her engagement an additional three weeks until June 29 in Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA on Broadway, it has been announced by the Tony Award-winning musical's producers Robyn Goodman, Jill Furman and Stephen Kocis. Ms. Drescher - making her Broadway debut this season as Cinderella's wicked stepmother - joined the production in February and, while an extension through June 8 was previously announced, it has been determined anew that Ms. Drescher will remain with the CINDERELLA company through June 29.
