ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play the Fabulous Fox Theatre for a limited engagement from April 8 - 20, 2014.

Culture Project will examine contemporary American mores with two journalistic theater pieces in rep. Straight from Joe's Pub, The Real Americans, a compelling and uniquely galvanizing new work written and performed by Dan Hoyle, will join The Junket, a new, hilariously scandalous solo show based on scandalous actual events, written and performed by Mike Albo, coming to Culture Project from an extended run at Dixon Place. Performances begin March 13rd and run until April 20th at the Lynn Redgrave Theater (45 Bleecker Street, NYC).

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Tales from Red Vienna, the new play by David Grimm (Measure for Pleasure), directed by Kate Whoriskey (Ruined at MTC), stars Tony Award winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur), Lucille Lortel nominee Tina Benko (Jackie, 'Brotherhood'), and Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Obie Award winner Kathleen Chalfant (Wit, Angels in America), Michael Esper (American Idiot, The Four of Us), Michael Goldsmith (Off-Broadway debut), and Lucas Hall (Beyond the Horizon, Othello).

The music of the late composer Dory Previn was celebrated at a gala for the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre last night. Best-known as the writer of such hit songs as 'Theme from Valley of the Dolls,' 'Mary C. Brown and the Hollywood Sign,' 'With My Daddy in the Attic,' 'You're Gonna Hear from Me,' DORY PREVIN was a legendary figure as a pop-folk singer-song-writer in the 60's-70's and 80's. The Gala performance was directed by Rachel Chavkin (NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812), with musical direction by Jon Spurney. Red Bull Theater will present the 30th Anniversary Revival of Charles Ludlam's The Mystery of Irma Vep, starring Arnie Burton and Robert Sella, directed by Everett Quinton. The Mystery of Irma Vep will have scenic design by John Arnone, costume design by Ramona Ponce, lighting design by Peter West, and sound design by Brandon Wolcott.

Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker have announced that Red-Eye to Havre de Grace will begin performances Tuesday, April 22 at 7pm at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4 Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery. Red-Eye to Havre de Grace is by Lucidity Suitcase Intercontinental, created by Thaddeus Phillips, Jeremy Wilhelm, David Wilhelm, Geoff Sobelle, Sophie Bortolussi with Ean Sheehy and music by Wilhelm Bros. & Co. and direction and stage design by Thaddeus Phillips, Opening night is set for Thursday, May 1 at 7pm. Red-Eye to Havre de Grace is scheduled to run through Sunday, June 1, 2014.

For DIRECTOR'S CHOICE, the fourth program of Pacific Northwest Ballet's 2013-2014 season, Artistic Director Peter Boal selects from his roster of acquisitions and increases them by one: The captivating mixed-bill program will feature a much-anticipated world premiere by Alejandro Cerrudo, resident choreographer of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. The program also reprises audience favorites TAKE FIVE…More or Less, Broadway-darling Susan Stroman's sunny slice of jazz-infused Dave Brubeck fun; and Susan Marshall's distinctive aerial duet, Kiss. Rounding out the lineup is Molissa Fenley's State of Darkness, a tour-de-force solo performance set to Stravinsky's riot-inducing The Rite of Spring. DIRECTOR'S CHOICE runs for seven performances only, March 14 through 23 at Seattle Center's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. Ford's Theatre Society 2013-2014 season continues with the quirky Tony-winning musical comedy 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,' directed by Peter Flynn, March 14 through May 17, 2014, at Ford's Theatre (511 Tenth Street NW, Washington, D.C.). The production features a local Washington cast of Helen Hayes Award nominees as six awkward adolescents and their proctors, all working through a daunting and hilarious championship quest.

After a 10-month hiatus, Gerard Alessandrini's FORBIDDEN BROADWAY, one of NYC's best-loved and highly anticipated productions, happily returns to New York, beginning tonight, February 22nd at 8PM at the newly refurbished Davenport Theatre (354 W. 45th Street, Between 8th and 9th Avenues) with FORBIDDEN BROADWAY; Alive and STILL Kicking, featuring brand new takes on the shows that opened in Forbidden Broadway's absence: Pippin, Kinky Boots, Matilda and Motown along with highlights from last season's acclaimed and very popular edition: Once, Evita, Newsies, Book of Mormon, among others. Over the course of the spring, Alessandrini will continue to add new material to reflect the season's openings, and unveil the new edition around the time of the Tony Awards.

Jamie Lloyd is directing the UK premiere of URINETOWN The Musical, with music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann and book and lyrics by Greg Kotis. The musical runs at the St James Theatre from tonight, 22 February until 3 May 2014, with opening night on 11 March 2014.

The York Theatre Company will welcome cast members of the original Off-Broadway production of the critically acclaimed musical, Yank!, with book & lyrics by David Zellnik and music by Joe Zellnik, to celebrate the official release of the cast recording on Monday evening, February 24 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The celebration will be held on stage at The York Theatre, where Yank! received its world premiere and played a sold-out engagement in Spring 2010.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company is proud to present Buyer & Cellar as a part of its STC Presentation Series. Written by Jonathan Tolins and directed by Stephen Brackett, Buyer & Cellar will launch its North American tour in Chicago in May before coming to D.C. Buyer & Cellar had its world premiere in April 2013 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, where it received rave reviews and played a sold-out, extended run before transferring to the Barrow Street Theatre where it opened June 24, 2013. Buyer & Cellar stars Michael Urie (Ugly Betty) as a struggling (and recently fired) L.A. actor named Alex More, who finds himself taking an odd job working in the Malibu basement of a Hollywood mega-star (and though her name is not mentioned, there are numerous similarities to Barbara Streisand). When the A-lister makes a rare appearance one day, the comedy launches into an outrageous look at fame and the price that accompanies it. Buyer & Cellar will run from June 20-29, 2014, at STC's Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).
