The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Laura Marks's powerful new play Bethany. Directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, Bethany will run today, Jan. 25 - Feb. 23, 2014 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Jan. 25 - Jan. 29. Opening night is Thursday, Jan. 30 at 8:00 p.m. Meet the cast and creative team in the photos below!

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that Colin Donnell (Anything Goes) and Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry (The Scottsboro Boys) will join two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of VIOLET, directed by Leigh Silverman.

The Off-Broadway League today announced details for the 2014 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The 29th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at NYU Skirball Center, beginning at 7:00pm EST. The program will be hosted by acclaimed husband and wife actors and comedians, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, who will appear on-stage together in the upcoming Off-Broadway production of Annapurna for The New Group. Veteran theater producer Robyn Goodman will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

A total of 46 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus in East Haddam, CT this month to participate in the Johnny Mercer Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The Vineyard Theatre will celebrate the songs of Dory Previn - the late pop/folk singer-songwriter whose numerous hits include "Come SaturdayMorning" and the theme from "Valley of the Dolls" - at its annual Gala Fundraiser on Monday, February 24th beginning at 6:30pm at the Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47 St in Manhattan), it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Vineyard Theatre's Artistic Director and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director.
