Palo Alto Players, the first theatre company on the Peninsula, will hold its third annual gala fundraiser on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Mitchell Park Community Center, 3700 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. The evening, entitled "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?," will include surprise entertainment from Palo Alto Players' favorite performers, special guests, and honor the Leading Players that have made a lasting impact on the organization. All proceeds from the event will be used to further the company's mission of providing high quality, performing arts programming to the community and expand the organization's community outreach initiatives. To mark Australia Day today, West Bromwich Operatic Society and Wolverhampton Grand Theatre announce the cast for PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL from 24 - 28 April. Following recent auditions the young stars of the show who will alternate the role of Benji are Georgie Hodson, aged 11 from Bloxwich and Luca Marandola, aged 12 from Tettenhall.

The Civic Opera House was transformed into 1920s Paris, complete with the Eiffel Tower, the Moulin Rouge nightclub, and classic boulevard signs (environmental design by Event Creative). This set the scene for 'Midnight in Paris,' the 29th annual Fantasy of the Opera Gala benefit hosted by Lyric Opera of Chicago's Guild Board of Directors on Saturday, February 9. The gala benefit raised more than $450,000 net for the world-renowned opera company.
