Signature Theatre is presenting Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks' The Red Letter Plays: f**king A & In the Blood. This is the first time these acclaimed plays will be presented together; they will run simultaneously at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). This is the first time these acclaimed plays will be presented together; they will run simultaneously at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). These two plays mark the final productions of Parks' Signature Residency One.

Casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) productions of Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks' The Red Letter Plays: f**king A & In the Blood. This is the first time these acclaimed plays will be presented together; they will run simultaneously at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). These two plays mark the final productions of Parks' Signature Residency One. All tickets for the initial runs of the productions are $30 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access.

In response to critical acclaim and popular demand, Soho Rep., in association with John Adrian Selzer, extends the world premiere, Soho Rep. commission of Richard Maxwell's Samara through May 14.

Hosted by actress Gloria Reuben and actor, director and writer Tim Blake Nelson, Soho Rep.'s Spring 2017 Gala will honor director Leah C. Gardiner (generations, born bad), playwright Melissa James Gibson ([sic], House of Cards) and scenic designer Louisa Thomspon, (Washeteria, Blasted), who have each been at the heart of some of the most memorable productions in the company's 42-year history and whose pioneering work for Soho Rep. has brought critical acclaim, both to the theater and to their own work.

At the Mezzanine Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 W 53rd Street), Soho Rep. is pleased to present the world premiere of Richard Maxwell's Samara, commissioned by Artistic Director Sarah Benson. In a departure, Maxwell, who has directed nearly all 20 of his plays, is handing over the directorial duties to Benson. Maxwell's work was seen previously at Soho Rep. in 2001 with Cavemen and in 1999 with Cowboys and Indians.

The New Victory Theater, a leading presenter of Theater for Young Audiences, announces the 2016-17 New Victory LabWorks Artists. This year's roster will include projects from a variety of art forms--theater, musical theater, aerial acrobatics, physical theater, magic, music and Vietnamese water puppetry--and explore an extensive range of topics, from one of Iran's most beloved folk tales to the experience of American trans youth.

SPACE on Ryder Farm, the non-profit artist residency program located on Ryder Farm, an idyllic 200 year-old working organic farm in Brewster, New York announces its 2016 season for The Working Farm, Family Residency, Creative Solutions Symposium and Artistic Residency programs. 2016 residents include playwrights Adam Bock, Cusi Cram, Daisy Foote, Adam Rapp, J.T. Directed by two-time Obie Award winner Leigh Silverman (Go Back to Where You Are, Blue Door and The Call at PH; The Madrid, Chinglish,Golden Child, Well), the production will begin previews Friday evening, November 15 at 8PM with an Opening Night set for Monday, December 9 at 7PM. The Off-Broadway League today gave out awards in 14 categories and two additional special awards for the 2013 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Lortel Awards were handed out on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at NYU Skirball Center, hosted by acclaimed stage and screen actors Aasif Mandvi and Maura Tierney. This year's event once again benefited The Actors Fund.
