Every so often a musical comes to town that we're told, 'Breaks all the rules!,' and 'Changes Broadway Forever!' That's nice. Usually this has something to do with having rock music, weak story-telling and an advertising campaign that convinces you that it's like nothing else Broadway has ever seen.

This past Friday, June 27, The Samsung Experience Store, located on the third floor of the Time Warner Center, hosted an afternoon with the cast of A Catered Affair. The afternoon events included a meet and greet with cast members, including stars Tom Wopat, Matt Cavenaugh and Harvey Fierstein, a special in-store performance from Mr. Wopat, and a cast CD signing.

-The Broadway production of the Harvey Fierstein/John Bucchino musical, A Catered Affair, will close following the Sunday, July 27 matinee. The announcement was made today by producer Jordan Roth (Vice President, Jujamcyn Theaters).
