Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today a general rush ticket policy for the highly anticipated new musical Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter. Beginning with the show's first preview this Thursday, November 21st, a number of $40 tickets will be made available for each performance, for purchase day-of at the box office of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street). Tickets are subject to availability, and patrons are limited to two rush tickets per person. An industry reading of Neurosis: A New Musical will be presented October 24-25 at Ripley-Grier Studios. Neurosis features a book by Allan Rice, music by Ben Green, and lyrics by Greg Edwards. Rice has written for television shows including "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on CBS and the upcoming Kelsey Grammer-Martin Lawrence Project on FX. Green is a veteran of Hasty Pudding Theatricals and a frequent orchestrator for Laurence O'Keefe (Heathers, Sarah Plain and Tall). Edwards, a two-time finalist for the Fred Ebb Award, has collaborated with Marvin Hamlisch and Arthur Laurents.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today the full cast and creative team for the new musical Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter.

Richard 'Bick' Goss, a noted New York City-based theater director and choreographer, former Bob Fosse dancer, and the Founder and Co-Artistic Director (with Frank Evans) of the non-profit musical theater development organization, Musical Mondays Theatre Lab, died this past Saturday, August 3, from complications related to Parkinson's Disease, which Mr. Goss had battled for more than five years. He was 75 years old.

Tony Award winner Richard Easton, Liz Larsen, Steve Vinovich, and Glory Crampton are set to star in The Peccadillo Theater Company's upcoming staged reading of Moss Hart's 1948 play LIGHT UP THE SKY tonight, July 29th at 7 PM at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street (between Ninth & Tenth Ave.) The evening will be directed and hosted by Christopher Hart, the son of playwright Moss Hart and actress Kitty Carlisle Hart. Featured in the cast of LIGHT UP THE SKY are Peter Cormican (Follies, The Rivalry), Charles E. Gerber ("Royal Pains," "Third Watch"), Lucy Martin (Children of a Lesser God, The Sister Rosensweig), Michael Quinlan ("Blue Bloods," Death of a Salesman w/Dustin Hoffman), Bruch Reed (Lombardi), Tony Triano (The Man Who Came to Dinner), Marisa Vitale ("Bored to Death"), and John Wernke (The Lyons, The Royal Family).
