The Riant Theatre's Strawberry One-Act Festival presents the Semi-Finals. Join us and cast your votes for the Best Play. Performances for the Semi-Finals are Tues, May 22, Wed, May 23 and Thurs, May 24th at 6pm and 8:30pm. After the Semi-Finals (2) two plays will be eliminated from each Semi-Finals night.

?Princeton Summer Theater's 2016 season opens this Thursday, June 16th with Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Assassins.  Assassins is an explosive tale of the American Dream gone awry. A multiple Tony Award-winning musical, Assassins combines Sondheim's brilliant lyricism and rich music in a revue-style tale addressing our nation's culture of celebrity and the violent means taken to obtain it. Clever, original, dark, and surprisingly funny, Assassins is perhaps Sondheim's most controversial musical.  

?Princeton Summer Theater's 2016 season opens Thursday, June 16th with Stephen Sondheim's Assassins. The season continues with Yasmina Reza's black comedy God of Carnage, Tom Stoppard's tragicomedy Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and Sam Shepard's drama Fool For Love.

Back by popular demand, Wolfbane Productions presents Evil Dead: The Musical for the third and final year. Staged outside at the Wolf Performing Arts Center (the Wolf PAC) in Appomattox, VA, this campy comedy plays October 1st through 3rd, 8th through 10th, and 15th through 17th at 8 PM.

The New Acting Company is celebrating its 15th anniversary with, A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. A Midsummer's Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies and has been updated and reimagined to fit the modern time. The production is directed by The New Acting Company's Producing Artistic Director, Stephen Michael Rondel, and choreographed by Ede Thurrell. The script has been reimagined and adapted by Mary Jo Bono.

Tuesday, November 11 My lifelong friend, Jane Parham arrived in town for the invited dress rehearsaltomorrow and I had lunch with her at Sonoma Grill. Have I mentioned that Sonoma Grill is awesome? So is Jane. We had a marvelous time and then I took her to the theater to see the set. While we were standing there, Zach Moore ran a sound cue, Bizet's Symphony in C… loudly. Both Jane and I burst into tears. Got to introduce her to Ted Pappas who greeted her like an old friend. Good times.

Ocean Professional Theatre Company presents Singin' In the Rain, running July 10th through July 19th and starring Colin Cahill, Guy Mannick, Gabi Stapula and Hilary Werthmann. Renowned Oscar Wilde expert Alan Stanford, PICT's interim Producing Artistic Director, will direct his adaptation of the great Irish playwright's comedy, Lady Windermere's Fan. Wilde's play, first produced in 1892 in London, satirizes the morality of Victorian society. Stanford has moved the setting forward in time to 1947; in post-World-War II London, Wilde's language and ridicule of high-society still resonate. Oscar Wilde was not so much a writer of polite English comedy, but rather a biting Irish satirist who lampooned the social absurdities and prejudices of the English upper classes, prejudices that lasted well into the Twentieth Century. This production, which runs tonight, July 11 through July 27, is PICT's third show of the season, and features a cast of 17 actors.
