ZACH Theatre has announced weekly Fall Concert Series 'Songs Under the Stars', October 15 through November 8.

For the fourth and final production in their 2020 Best Night Ever Online Virtual Season, Transcendence Theatre Company is pulling out all the stops and will present a night of unforgettable song and dance with their Annual Gala Musical Fundraiser, September 11th through 13th.

A Night with Janis Joplin returns to ZACH where its journey began; this time in the Topfer with Tony-nominated Mary Bridget Davies, who originated the title role on Broadway running January 29–March 8, 2020 at The Topfer at ZACH. Creator, writer and original director Randy Johnson joins Mary Bridget Davies with original choreographer Patricia Wilcox and original associate director Tyler Rhodes. 

ZACH Theatre kicks off 2020 with two show openings, celebrating a legendary rock goddess, and bringing Eric Carle's books of children's classics to life on the stage. ZACH Theatre presents Austin's most rockin' holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol returning to The Topfer at ZACH for the sixth year November 20-December 29, 2019 with exciting new songs and new cast members in addition to returning favorites under the direction of Producing Artistic Director Dave Steakley.

The TexARTS Musical Theatre Academy presents, Frozen JR. Directed by Leslie McDonel with performances June 14-16. The enchanting modern Disney classic we all know and love, Frozen JR. will transport you to the magical land of Arendelle. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart! This production is suitable for all ages.

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is a 1998 Off-Broadway rock musical that won the Obie Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Trask and a book by John Cameron Mitchell. It is a performance by Hedwig, a genderqueer East German singer of the fictional rock and roll band, The Angry Inch. In 2014, the show saw its first Broadway incarnation winning the year's Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. It was also filmed as a movie long before the revised Broadway production.

In collaboration with University of Texas at Austin's Drama and Theatre for Youth and Communities (DTYC) MFA Program, This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing will now join the season lineup running January 13, 19, 20, and 26, 2019 in The Whisenhunt at ZACH, performed and devised by the ensemble. Allen Robertson's smash-hit musical for all ages, Tortoise and Hare will close in The Kleberg at ZACH on January 27.

Transcendence Theatre Company, the non-profit theater company which produces the annual, award-winning 'Broadway Under the Stars' open-air performance series at Jack London State Historic Park in Sonoma County's Wine County, joins forces with several New York based Broadway veterans and artists for 'Sonoma Strong Benefit Concert for California Fire Recovery,' a one-night only performance, broadcasting live on Facebook from The Green Room 42 in New York City on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017.

Transcendence Theatre Company will conclude their 2017 season of spectacular outdoor Broadway concerts in Sonoma Wine Country with a special Gala Celebration at Jack London Stare Historic Park running September 8-10. Transcendence Theatre Company was named by USA Today's 10BEST as the #2 'Outdoor Concert Venue You Shouldn't Miss' in the United States, and received four 2016 Broadway World San Francisco awards including Best Special Theater Event for the fifth consecutive year. At the conclusion of this season, Transcendence performances will have been seen by over 110,000 people and will have raised over $351,000 to benefit Jack London State Historic Park.
