Jason C. Tramm leads the Adelphi Orchestra and guest soloist, violinist Christine Kwak in the Adelphi Orchestra's season finale concert "Celebrating a Grand Legacy" Thursday June 9th at New York's Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Music Center. The concert will feature a program of beloved audience favorites: Mendelssohn's Overture to the Hebrides, Tchaikovsky's Concerto for Violin in D Major and Beethoven's Symphony No 5 in C Minor.

PITTSBURGH – FUSE@PSO, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's genre-bending early evening concert series, returns for its second season with three concerts featuring the music of Tchaikovsky, Bartók, Björk and Drake, and a performance by guest artists Time for Three. The 2016-2017 season goes on sale June 1.

Happy Birthday, Mary Testa! Testa is a two-time Tony Award nominee, for performances in revivals of Leonard Bernstein's On the Town (1998) and 42nd Street (2001). She made her debut as Miss Goldberg in William Finn's one-act musical In Trousers (1979), part one of his 'Marvin Trilogy,' winning audiences over with her rendition of 'Set Those Sails' and 'I Am Wearing a Hat,' as well as 'The Rape of Miss Goldberg by Marvin.' She returned to Broadway in July, 2007 in the musical-theater remake of the 1980 film Xanadu for which she received a Drama Desk Award nomination.

Leading the company are Matt Doyle as Tony, Belinda Allyn as Maria, Natalie Cortez as Anita, German Alexander as Bernardo and Mikey Winslow as Riff. West Side Story begins performances at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater tonight, June 1, and runs through June 26, 2016. The official press opening night is Sunday, June 5, 2016, at 7:00 pm. ?Lawyers and judges, who are more commonly heard in the courtroom, will be on the stage of Walt Disney Concert Hall making music together in perfect harmony while raising funds for those who cannot afford legal services. Founder-Conductor Gary S. Greene, Esq. will lead the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and its chorus, Legal Voices, dubbed "LA's Only Legal Orchestra & Chorus," in their 7th Annual Concert Extraordinaire on Saturday evening, June 18 at Disney Hall (111 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles 90012). The Sherman Brothers' memorable Disney music and works by composers Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein will highlight the evening, with Legendary Songwriter Richard M. Sherman as a special guest.

After packing The Cutting Room for the record release party of  STEREOPTICON by Gary Lucas & Jann Klose, the Urban Americana duo will be performing at Joe's Pub on Friday, June 17 at 7 PM.

Columbus Children's Theatre (CCT) will present West Side Story June 29-July 17, 2016 at Park Street Theatre located at 512 Park Street. The 2016 Summer Pre-Professional Company is comprised of actors ages 16-22. This production is directed by David Bahgat and choreographed by Nikki Montana. Book by Arthur Laurents, Music by Leonard Bernstein, Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Based on Conception of Jerome Robbins, Based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

The Azrieli Music Project (AMP) is proud to announce that composer Wlad Marhulets is the winner of the inaugural Azrieli Prize in Jewish Music for his Klezmer Clarinet Concerto. Marhulets, who submitted a completed orchestral work on a Jewish theme or subject – along with applicants from around the world – has been granted the second of two $50,000 prizes, which were offered for the first time by the Azrieli Foundation.
