Westport Country Playhouse will stage a limited engagement of the recent off-Broadway musical, 'Woody Sez: The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie,' from January 9 through January 20. Featured in the title role is David M. Lutken, the show's deviser, who won Helen Hayes and Joseph Jefferson awards for his performance.

Woody Sez: The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie, a summer '17 off-Broadway hit, will have a limited engagement at Westport Country Playhouse, January 9 20. The joyful, touching, and tumultuous tale of America's greatest folk poet is told using Guthrie's own words and over two dozen of his indelible songs, including This Land Is Your Land, Union Maid, Deportees, and This Train Is Bound for Glory.

Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theatre closes out their spectacular 26th season with a fun production of Shakespeare's As You Like It. This incarnation, running through September 3rd, features a stellar cast of favorites including Tony, Oscar, and Emmy winner Ellen Burstyn, Andre De Shields, Kyle Scatliffe, and more. Bay Street's boffo showing is in conjunction with New York City's Classic Stage Company and is excellently directed by CSCs Artistic Director John Doyle. In fact, once the run at Bay Street ends, this production will be opening at CSC on September 13th.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Doyle and Executive Producer Director Jeff Griffin, announced today that Tony, Emmy and Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn will play the role of Jaques in the company's new production of William Shakespeare's As You Like It, directed by Doyle, with music by Stephen Schwartz, beginning Wednesday, September 13 as the first production of CSC's 50th Anniversary Season.

Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce the full cast for AS YOU LIKE IT by William Shakespeare, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle. The production will run at Bay Street Theater from August 8 - September 3. The production will star Hannah Cabell (The Father, Men on Boats, Major Barbara) as Rosalind, Academy Award, Emmy Award and Tony Award winner Ellen Burstyn (Same Time, Next Year, The Last Picture Show, The Exorcist) as Jacques, and Andre De Shields (The Full Monty, Ain't Misbehavin', The Wiz) as Touchstone.

Two River Theater (Artistic Director John Dias, Managing Director Michael Hurst) presents The Ballad of Little Jo, a musical by Mike Reid(composer, co-bookwriter), Sarah Schlesinger (lyricist, co-bookwriter) and John Dias (co-bookwriter). Dias, the theater's Artistic Director, is also making his Two River directorial debut with this production. The Ballad of Little Jo is based on the film of the same name by Maggie Greenwald. The choreography is by Marc Kimelman, with music direction and dance and incidental arrangements by John O'Neill.
