Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) announced that Emmy Award nominee Hugh Dancy (Journey's End, 'The Big C') will star with Tony nominee Nina Arianda in Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway premiere of VENUS IN FUR, the acclaimed new play by David Ives, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie.

Jeffrey Ash, a prominent theatrical advertising executive who helped revolutionize Broadway advertising with the first live-action television spot for 'Pippin' and who later became a successful producer for Broadway, off-Broadway, and London's West End, died suddenly August 8, 2011 at his home in Manhattan. He was 65 and for many years had suffered from inclusion body myositis, an autoimmune disorder.

Roth and Bassett will discuss her upcoming role opposite Samuel L. The nominations were released earlier this month for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mad Men topped the list with 19 nominations, followed by Boardwalk Empire with 18, Modern Family with 17, Saturday Night Live with 16, Game of Thrones and 30 Rock with 13 and GLEE with 12. Manhattan Theatre Club has just announced that Tony and Emmy Award winner Cynthia Nixon will return to MTC to star in the Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play WIT by Margaret Edson, directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow. The limited engagement of WIT will begin previews Thursday, January 5, 2012 and open Thursday, January 26, 2012 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

To kick off the return of its hit original series WEEDS (10 PM) and THE BIG C (10:30 PM), SHOWTIME will premiere the mega-hit ECLIPSE, the third installment of the Twilight Saga, on Monday, June 27th at 8 PM ET/PT.
