To mark the return of the second season of the Golden Globe(R)-nominated original series THE BIG C, SHOWTIME will launch a number of campaigns in support of the American Cancer Society. The network has partnered with DIRECTV to create a special offer that allows DIRECTV customers to get $25 back when they subscribe to SHOWTIME - the customer can then choose either to receive a $25 prepaid debit card or contribute the $25 to the American Cancer Society.

American Conservatory Theater's (A.C.T.) highly anticipated production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City has been extended an additional two weeks through July 24 due to unprecedented demand. The world premiere musical amassed the largest advance sale in A.C.T.'s history prior to its first preview performance on May 18 and has continued to break sales records heading into this week's opening night gala. Award winning TV/Radio Host, Comedian and Celebrity Interviewer Scott Nevins can currently be seen every Thursday night on TruTV's hit show 'The Smoking Gun Presents' and hosting the red carpet at A-list Hollywood events for TV Land. But Soctt will make a rare appearance with his new show 'One Night Stand' in Palm Springs on Sunday, May 29th at Blame It On Midnight. Scott has hosted over 300 live events, and has collected a roster of celebrity interviews to rival a seasoned veteran twice his age, working with some of the industries best including the legendary Liza Minnelli, Susan Lucci, Lynn Redgrave, Laura Linney, Rosie O'Donnell, and Tammy Faye Messner-Bakker, to name only a few.

Penguin Rep Theatre (Joe Brancato, Artistic Director, and Andrew M. Horn, Executive Director) and Edmund Gaynes, in association with Don and Lizanne Mitchell, will present The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, a musical by Angelo Parra, conceived and directed by Joe Brancato.
