Atlantic returns to the work of Tony Award® and Nobel Prize winning playwright Harold Pinter, (the first major production of his work to be done in NYC since his death in 2008) following its critically hailed 2005 production of his first and last plays The Room and Celebration.

THE COLLECTION AND A KIND OF ALASKA will begin previews Wednesday, November 3; officially open Monday, November 22; and play a limited engagement through Sunday, December 12 Off-Broadway at Classic Stage Company (136 East 13th Street) while its main stage Linda Gross Theater undergoes renovation.

Helen Stenborg and Stephen McKinley Henderson have been named to receive the annual Richard Seff Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation. The award, a $1,000 check and crystal trophy for each, honors a veteran female and male character actor for the best performance in a supporting role in a Broadway or Off-Broadway production.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) begins performances for Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers tonight, Wednesday, February 24 at 8pm. Written by Geoffrey Cowan and Leroy Aarons and directed by John Rubinstein, opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 7:00pm. The production runs through Sunday, March 28. The Irish Repertory Theatre continues its NEW WORKS READING SERIES to support new plays and emerging playwrights with a free staged reading of Lisa Tierney-Keogh's FOUR LAST THINGS on Friday, January 29 at 3pm at Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) in Manhattan.

According to the New York Times, the New York Theater Workshop has announced a project being developed by 'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The two are working with composer Robert Lopez, who won a Tony Award for AVENUE Q. The team is working to create a musical that will run at the New York Theater Workshop from August thru September.
