Starz Greenlights Second Season of Original Series DA VINCI'S DEMONS

Starz Chief Executive Officer, Chris Albrecht, announced a second season order for the STARZ Original series, DA VINCI'S DEMONS, following its recent record-setting first season weekend debut on STARZ on Friday, April 12.

Lara Pulver Among Cast for BBC America's Drama Series FLEMING

Lara Pulver, Annabelle Wallis, Lesley Manville, Anna Chancellor, Samuel West and Rupert Evans will all feature in the four-part drama that explores the early life of Ian Fleming, the charming, enigmatic creator of 007. Fleming (W/T) from Ecosse Films is a co-production for BBC AMERICA and Sky Atlantic and distributed by BBC Worldwide.

In recent months, London's Landor Theatre has shot to prominence for premiering musicals by Kander and Ebb (writers of Cabaret and Chicago), Flaherty and Ahrens (writers of Ragtime and Once On This Island) and Howard Goodall. In February 2013, it is following these successes with the world premiere of the new musical by the internationally acclaimed British composer-lyricist Alexander S. Bermange.

Starz to Premiere DA VINCI'S DEMONS on 4/12

Starz announced today that the historical fantasy 'Da Vinci's Demons,' an original series created by David S. Goyer, co-writer of The Dark Knight Trilogy, will premiere on STARZ in the U.S. on Friday, April 12 at 10 pm, following the finale of 'Spartacus: War of the Damned.' After the premiere on April 12th, the series will air Friday nights at 9pm et/pt. The eight-episode drama, produced by Adjacent Productions, follows the 'untold' story of the world's greatest genius, Leonardo da Vinci, during his turbulent youth in Renaissance Florence. BBC Worldwide is distributing the series internationally and Fox International Channels (FIC) has acquired the series across FIC's portfolio of 200 pay-TV entertainment channels. FIC will be premiering the show to audiences in 120 countries in Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa in the month of April.

Following the announcement in the Summer of 2011 that Dress Circle may be faced with closer for financial reasons, STANDING OVATION was produced by Danny Davies of Pirate Management over the month that followed. Comprising works from artists and songwriters who share in the concerns for Dress Circle`s future, this CD is a tribute to the shop, and it is hoped that it may contribute in some way to the positive future. The album will be released on August 17 and can be purchased here.

The shop was founded in 1978 with the intention of providing an unrivalled selection of musical theatre and cabaret related merchandise. After celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2008, Dress Circle claims to be the longest running show business and musical theatre shop in the world.
