CBS News Correspondents Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson will join Anthony Mason as permanent Co-Hosts on CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY, it was announced today by David Rhodes, President of CBS News.

The new Paramount Network today received its first-ever Emmy nominations as a network after successfully rebranding earlier this year.

Peak Performances kicks off its 2018-19 season with the world premiere of Hatuey: Memory of Fire, a rousing Afro-Cuban-Yiddish opera performed in English, Yiddish and Spanish, with music by Frank London, libretto by Elise Thoron, direction by Mary Birnbaum, and choreography by Maija Garcia.

This year's Wawa Welcome America festival, a weeklong July 4 celebration, will honor the 40th anniversary of The Philly POPS and its contributions to the community through its music education program and concert series honoring the military, veterans, and first responders.

 MSNBC and executive producer LL COOL J are set to premiere “Story of Cool,” a three-part docuseries. The first hour-long episode airs on Sunday, July 1 at 9 p.m. ET on MSNBC.

On the June 14th midseason premiere of Lip Sync Battle, the stars of Paramount Network's American Woman Alicia Silverstone and Mena Suvari face off in an epic battle between two of your favorite 90s icons. Alicia pays homage to “Cher Horowitz” with a hilarious performance to Iggy Azalea's “Fancy,” complete with Cher's iconic yellow plaid, while Mena brings her best Dusty Springfield impression with a lip sync rendition of the 1960s classic “Son of a Preacher Man.”

Rehearsals are underway for Underneath the Lintel, starring Sally Wingert. As part of Theater Latte Da's commitment to developing new works, this production of Glen Berger's acclaimed play features original music commissioned by Latte Da from Grammy award-winning composer Frank London, founding member of The Klezmatics. Theater Latte Da Artistic Director Peter Rothstein directs the production with Music Director Dan Chouinard and vocalist Natalie Nowytski. For three years, I have obsessed over the Original Broadway Cast Album of Lin-Manuel Miranda's ingeniously constructed, powerfully-rendered musical masterpiece HAMILTON, mostly because it just wasn't possible for me to see the show at its home at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York. Fast forward to Fall of 2017 and the show finally makes its long stop in Los Angeles. I snagged a ticket and it was transcendent. Fast forward again to now May 2018, and the show's second national tour has finally arrived in my back yard at OC's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa for a three-week run through May 27. This production not only successfully reignited my love for this show, but it has also promptly solidified it as, in my humble opinion, one of the best musicals of all time. Apart from being one of the most undeniably creative stage shows ever produced for the American theater, HAMILTON is also one of the most deeply moving and shrewdly intelligent stage musicals I have ever experienced---made even better thanks to an insanely talented ensemble cast that raps, sings, and acts their way into this gripping, very American story. All that hype? Completely justified.

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) will host its 31st annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Los Angeles. ASCAP will honor the popular 90s R&B group Xscape with the ASCAP Golden Note Awardduring this year's ceremony, and members Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, Tamika Scott and LaTocha Scott will be on hand to accept. The event will also honor ASCAP songwriter and publisher members with awards for the most performed ASCAP songs of the past year on the R&B, hip-hop, rap and gospel charts.

As many of you know, Arena Stage's Artistic Director Molly Smith has been very active on a number of national social issues, including LGBT rights and gun control in addition to her exemplary artistic work. In this way, perhaps it's only natural that the headliner at this year's Arena Stage Gala on May 10th is not only a great singer/songwriter, but also an accomplished speaker and humanitarian.
