Broadway veteran and former SMASH star Krysta Rodriguez has announced that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Rodriguez, who last appeared on stage in FIRST DATE opposite Zachary Levi, revealed the news on a new blog she's started, titled ChemoCoutoure.

For Canfield and Kelly's From Broadway to Survivor cabaret, the charming couple shared with audiences their New York experiences, love story, and their vibrant talents. This made for a fun night of Broadway showmanship that amused the collected audience.

Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Audiences can expect to hear songs featured in the second season of Smash, as well as contemporary classics from the musical theater canon and some of the pop/rock tunes featured on the show.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, The Actors Fund will soon present a one-night-only concert presentation of BOMBSHELL - The Marilyn Monroe musical from NBC's Golden Globe-nominated television series SMASH. The benefit for The Actors Fund is set to take place on June 8, 2015 in New York City. Star of the series, Katharine McPhee told Zap2It in a recent interview that she would return for the concert, which will also star Megan, Hilty, Anjelica Huston and Debra Messing. McPhee told Zap2It: It's going to be so fun. That was such a great, really fun -- another really special job.'
