But sometimes the best stories are the ones told backstage. In the style of The Moth and Risk, BROADWAY STORIES will feature Broadway greats telling their hilarious, moving, and fascinating stories of a life in the theatre. Hosted by Todd Buonopane (Cinderella, Chicago, Grease & Spelling Bee) BROADWAY STORIES will be recorded and released as a podcast. Todd Buonopane most recently appeared on Broadway in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Other Broadway credits include Roger in Grease, Amos in Chicago (also National Tour) and many, many roles in the original company of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Off-Broadway, he was seen in Henry & Mudge, Click Clack Moo, Don't Quit Your Night Job and The Butter and Egg Man. Regional favorites include Cake Off (Signature Theatre) Sleepless In Seattle (Pasadena Playhouse) Guys & Dolls (5th Avenue), Carousel (Barrington Stage), Happy Days (Papermill Playhouse), A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (Goodspeed Opera House), Gemini The Musical (Prince Theater), Surf (Planet Hollywood, Vegas) and the 2001 National Tour of Godspell. As a cabaret artist and storyteller, Todd has performed and hosted at some of the greatest cabaret venues/comedy clubs in New York City and Los Angeles; and performed his one man show: Lying In The Driveway around the U.S. On television, Todd is most recognizable as Jeffrey Weinerslav on 30 Rock. Other tv credits include Grey's Anatomy, The Producer, The Black Donnellys, Law & Order: CI, the new films Claire's Cambodia, A Kiss For Jed Wood and Girls Will Be Girls 2 and the webseries Paragon School For Girls. Todd received a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Michigan.
