On March 19, 2013, Tenor Anthony Kearns, founding member of the popular group, The Irish Tenors, performed at the 2013 Friends of Ireland Lunch at the U.S. Capitol as the guest of Speaker of the House John Boehner. Special guests included President Barack Obama, Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) Enda Kenny, members of Congress, and dignitaries from Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The New Zealand Embassy kicked-off the Veterans Day weekend in Washington, D.C. with its third tribute to America's armed forces on November 9, 2012. The benefit, featuring famed tenor Anthony Kearns and co-hosted by the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes, honoured two premier U.S. military charities, the USO and the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Fund (VVMF).

Tenor Anthony Kearns performed at the Bell Cultural Events Center on September 15, 2012, with accompanist Dale Morehouse, chair of Vocal Studies Division and associate professor of Opera at the University of Missouri-Kansas City's Conservatory of Music. Tenor Anthony Kearns, kicked off his Spring Tour on March 2, 2012 at Kansas City Union Station's Grand Opening Gala and a special performance at the VooDoo Lounge (North Kansas City) on March 3. He wrapped up his multi-city solo tour on March 27 at the JFK Presidential Library in Boston, MA. The VIP musical wine reception on Thurs., October 20, 2011, hosted by the ONE Campaign at the Embassy of New Zealand in Washington, D.C. for the USO and Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, was a triumphant success. This was the first time that the ONE Campaign teamed up with Irish Tenor Anthony Kearns for the USO, and the second time the New Zealand Embassy hosted Kearns for a military benefit. (The last time was Christmas 2010).

The Embassy of New Zealand and the ONE Campaign will host 'A Special Tribute to U.S. Military Members, Their Families and Their Legacies,' Thursday, October 20, 2011, from 6-8pm. Featuring a special performance by world-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns, the invitation-only ticketed Embassy gala will benefit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) and the USO of Metropolitan Washington.
