Nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2011 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.

Judy Greer, currently starring opposite George Clooney in 'The Descendants,' and Regina King, star of TNT's critically acclaimed drama series 'Southland,' will announce the nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R), Executive Producer Jeff Margolis announced today. Ken Howard has been re-elected for a second term as Screen Actors Guild president, and Amy Aquino will continue in her role as secretary-treasurer. Renowned actress, producer and humanitarian Mary Tyler Moore will receive Screen Actors Guild (SAG)'s most prestigious accolade - the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. Moore created a new paradigm for female leads in television, won top honors for her courageous performances in film, television and on stage, produced some of the most lauded television programs of all time, and for thirty years, has served as a tireless advocate giving hope to all those afflicted with Type 1 diabetes.
