The 2010 Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, with Spring Awakening, Enron, Jerusalem and A Little Night Music among the standouts of the season with the most nominations. The Laurence Olivier Awards were established in 1976 as The Society of West End Theatre Awards, and Lord Olivier agreed to have his name associated with them in 1984. The Awards are run by The Society of London Theatre but are adjudicated by panels that are equally made up of members of the theatregoing public and experts chosen for their knowledge and professional experience. Portman Denies Involvement in 'My Fair Lady' Film

According to a reprepresentattive for Natalie Portman, the actress will not be involved in the upcoming remake of 'My Fair Lady' film. A report from Star magazine suggested that Portman had been campaigning for the role immortalized by Audrey Hepburn in the 1964 film.

Rob Marshall to Helm Next 'Pirates of the Carribean' Film

Director Rob Marshall has been hired by Disney to helm the next 'Pirates of the Carribean' film. Production on the film will begin in 2010, with the majority of shooting taking place in Hawaii. The film is slated for a 2011 release. Disney has already signed Johnny Depp to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Knightley No Longer Considering 'My Fair Lady' Flick

Although Keira Knightley was never officially offered the part of Eliza Doolittle in the upcoming film adaptation of My Fair Lady, rumors were afloat that she would step into the role ever since she met with producers Cameron Mackintosh and Duncan Kenworthy. According to the Daily Mail, she has now officially withdrawn herself from consideration for the role because she feels the project is taking too long to get off the ground.
