Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre will present "The Secret World of Arrietty" the latest animated feature from the legendary Studio Ghibli ("Spirited Away," "Ponyo"), beginningFebruary 17 through March 8, 2012, it was announced today by Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Yesterday the Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced this year's winning motion picture and television productions at the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the motion picture and long-form television nominations for the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards. The categories include: The Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures; The Producers Guild of America Producer of the Year Award in Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures; and The David L. Wolper Producer of the Year Award in Long-Form Television. The documentary film category and other television category nominations were already announced by the Guild in December 2011.

Steven Spielberg has adapted War Horse into a feature length film, which is set to be released in movie theaters on December 25. The filmed premiered in New York City yesterday, December 3, and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the red carpet!

Variety reports that director Steven Spielberg has just cast British actor Jared Harris in his upcoming biopic LINCOLN. Harris joins previously announced Brit Daniel Day-Lewis in the cast of the drama from DreamWorks. Harris will play the role of Ulysses S. Grant, while Lewis is set to play President Abraham Lincoln.
