The Green Room 42 Presents stage and television performer, Andrea Wolff, in her new cabaret, I Can't Trace Time, a passionate and whimsical look at the arc of life. Featuring a signature mixture of pop and Broadway, Andrea Wolff's I Can't Trace Time features a master entertainer who has been widely lauded for her strong comic timing, offbeat and compelling characterizations and superb taste in music. Prolific, award winning British Composer and Musical Director/Arranger, Jude Obermuller will lead a quintet and Special Guest Artist, guitarist Sean Harkness will appear. The show is directed by 2018 MAC and Bistro Award winning writer-actor, Dan Ruth. The Green Room 42 is located on the fourth floor of YOTEL NYC, on Tenth Avenue between 42nd and 41st Streets . "Nothing can really prepare you for the riot of exuberance and depth of the emotion of the Soweto Gospel Choir" (The Scotsman). In this special program, South Africa's five-time Grammy Award-winning gospel choir celebrates the Nelson Mandela centenary. Drawing upon the best talent from churches in and around Soweto, the internationally acclaimed choir shares the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music. "Spirited and spectacular"(New York Times), the concert is entitled Songs of the Free; it includes South African classics as well as freedom songs and gospel music much loved by Mandela, for whom the choir had the privilege of performing on multiple occasions. 

September on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” transforms into “LIVEtember,” as the top morning talk show kicks off its 31st season on Sept. 3 with a phenomenal lineup of guests, music acts and “live” festivities all month long. 

Visionary storyteller Shannon Molly Flynn debuts her new solo show, OUT OF THE MAYBE COLUMN in NYC. A superb classical musician, Lucia Micarelli is recognized throughout the world for being a featured soloist with Josh Groban, Chris Botti, Jethro Tull, and also for her starring role on the critically acclaimed HBO series "Treme." From classical to jazz to traditional fiddle music and Americana, Micarelli's trademark emotional vulnerability and technical wizardry bind it all together for an incredible evening of music.

The starry lineup is set for the second concert in the new Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On September 24 at 7pm and 9:30pm, The Green Room 42 will present Unplugged: Justin Timberlake, featuring original "unplugged" arrangements of the pop star's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band.

The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, kicks off its 2018-19 season with Roll Over Beethoven: A Different Kind of Orchestra on Friday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. The orchestra is joined by three time "Las Vegas Headliner of the Year" singer Frankie Moreno, plus band and a pair of dancers, for an evening of rock 'n' roll favorites by Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and others. Songs include "Great Balls of Fire," "Jailhouse Rock," "Eleanor Rigby," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and more.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - will present ELEW on Thursday, August 16 at 7:00 PM. His performance "Rockjazz" fuses his classically trained piano skills with modern pop and rock music generating a new genre. After performing for Barack and Michelle Obama at The White House alongside Esperanza Spalding, on NBC-TV's "America's Got Talent" and on National Public Radio, ELEW brings "Rockjazz" back to New York at The Green Room 42 for a one night only performance.
