THE YEAR AFTER Comes to The Green Room 42

The Green Room 42 presents a one-night-only premiere concert of the song cycle THE YEAR AFTER by Tim Aumiller and Scott Schneider. Follow a quintet of New Yorkers as they confront the realities of seeking love, losing love and enduring relationships in a time of personal and political chaos.

The cast includes Brittneyann Accetta (Broadway's Rising Stars), Jason Moody (Hair, National Tour), Blake Pfeil (Man of La Mancha, Shakespeare Theatre of NJ), Sasha Weiss (Jerry Spring the Opera at Carnegie Hall), Toni Elizabeth White (Broadway: Amazing Grace) and special guest Dayna Dantzler (Waitress, Book of Mormon, Broadway and National Tour). The performers are backed by the NO HOPE Band: Robert Maril (cello), Patrick Newton (percussion), Paul Wyatt (guitar) and Scott Schneider (piano).

NO HOPE Productions was founded by TIM AUMILLER and Scott Schneider in the fall of 2003 with the debut of their darkly comic musical, DOSE! -produced in the East Village at the Kraine Theatre. Since, they have presented more than a dozen evenings of new work including two sold out shows at the legendary Joe's Pub -Siren/Kings In Concert and their anniversary celebration Pulling The Plug: a decade of NO HOPE. Their musical Hello, My Name Is Billy was a FringeNYC award winner and a Backstage "Critic's Pick." Hailed as a "rocking new musical," BILLY ran for six weeks at The Duplex before its FringeNYC run at Le Poisson Rouge. NO HOPE has produced four other original FringeNYC selections including Flight (also a Backstage "Critic's Pick) and Luke Nicholas (4 stars from Time Out). On screen, their song "Fools Like You" was featured in the award-winning documentary Actress and they collaborated with NYC based power diva pop trio Siren on their music video for "Evolution." The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest urban entertainment cabaret club, that since its opening on Valentine's day has featured Broadway names like Alice Ripley, Telly Leung, Josh Groban, Eva Noblezada, Lillias White, James Snyder, The Skivvies (Lauren Molina & Nick Cearley), Matt Doyle, Constantine Maroulis, and many more.
