Writer Jordan Allen-Dutton has just joined the upcoming Richard Simmons biopic, according to reports. Allen-Dutton's previous credits include the The Bomb-itty of Errors, a hip-hop add-rap-tation of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, which became a smash Off-Broadway hit. The film will star Pauly Shore as the fitness guru, previously playing Simmons in a short film titled The Court Jester.

Paul Taylor-Mills is delighted to announce MT Fest UK, a two-week festival of new musical theatre at The Other Palace from Monday 11 to Saturday 23 February 2019. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, nerds, a new musical comedy about the rise and rivalry of tech trailblazers Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, will postpone its Broadway run. A national tour of the production is in the works. The show had just finalized and announced its cast in late February, at the start of rehearsals. nerds was scheduled to begin previews on April 1 and open on April 21 at the Longacre Theatre. The producers of NERDS, a new musical dot-comedy about the rise and rivalry of tech trailblazers Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, have announced the full cast!

The new musical dot-comedy Nerds will open at Broadway's Longacre Theatre on April 21st, 2016 following preview performances which were previously announced as beginning March 31st, but it appears previews have been bumped by a day. According to the Telecharge website, the show will begin previews on April 1st instead.

Confirming earlier rumors that NERDS THE MUSICAL will finally be heading to the Great White Way, BroadwayWorld has confirmed the show will premiere at the Longacre Theatre this spring.

Rumor has it that Nerds mights be heading to Broadway!  The musical has listed the address of Broadway's Longacre Theatre as its address on its official Facebook page, and with Allegiance closing on February 14, the show could be aiming to open in  the spring season.

?Nerds is headed back to to New York City! The musical will be presented in two workshop productions, slated for today and tomorrow, April 16 and 17, 2015. Casey Hushion (ELF) will direct, with choreography by Josh Bergasse ('Smash', ON THE TOWN).
