Staveley Theatre Academy are holding FREE musical theatre workshops this August.

Cynthia Erivo (I Can't Sing!, The Color Purple) returns to the West End alongside Cassidy Janson (Avenue Q, Wicked, Candide) in the European premiere of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Dessa Rose, running at Trafalgar Studios (Studio 2), today 29th July - Saturday 30th August 2014. Press night is Thursday, 31st July, 7pm.

The Confession Room will return to London this summer in a special one-off concert at the St. James Studio on Sunday 13th July. It is now confirmed that the production will star Jon Robyns, Rebecca Trehearn and Stuart Matthew Price with West End performers Matthew Rowland, Stephanie Clift and Rebecca Jayne-Davies amongst others. The production will be directed by Paul Foster with musical direction by Tim Evans.

The program is an amazing opportunity for budding performers who are interested in West End theatre and want to enter the profession as a 'triple threat'. Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? Today's big news: Kristin Chenoweth will be honored at tonight's NCTF Gala, MCC is hosting its MISCAST celebration, and HEATHERS opens off-Broadway!

Danielle Hope, who won BBC1's 'Over The Rainbow', will star as Catherine Hiatt in Jason Robert Brown's award-winning musical, The Last Five Years at Greenwich Theatre, London and The Warren Theatre, Brighton this May. She will appear alongside West End star Jon Robyns, whose credits include Spamalot, Les Miserables and Avenue Q.

In anticipation of LES MISERABLES coming back home to Broadway, I've been listening to LES MISERABLES LIVE! DREAM THE DREAM (The 2010 Cast Album). The beautiful, exciting, and comprehensive recording was captured at the Wales Millennium Centre in 2009. For those curious about what they can expect from the new Broadway production, this recording serves as the perfect introduction to Chris Jahnke's new orchestrations.

The special one-night-only concert You'll Never Walk Alone took place on Sunday 2 March at the Queen's Theatre in aid of the Philippines Typhoon Appeal, with all proceeds going directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee. Scroll down for photos from the show!
