Bucks County Playhouse, under the direction of Robyn Goodman and Alexander Fraser, is pleased to announce a newly expanded lineup of education programs being offered this fall for children, teens, and adults. New programming this fall includes a three-part Musical Theatre Writing workshop taught by "Cake Off" composer Adam Gwon, running at the Playhouse August 19 - September 10, and the Saturday Musical Theatre program for children, back by popular demand, among many others!

Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season continues with its CABARET SERIES featuring CARNER & GREGOR (ISLAND SONG). Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls), in the recently renovated Cabaret space on July 31st and August 1st at 7:30pm. Kicking-off Adirondack Theatre Festival's (ATF) 22nd summer season of professional theatre is ISLAND SONG. Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls) June 21st - July 2nd at 7:30pm with a special matinee performance on June 29th at 2:00 pm. Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director and Melissa Huber, Managing Director, in partnership with producer Alexander Baron, continues its 2016 IGNITE Series at The TimesCenter (242 W 41st Street), with a one-night concert of Vote For Me: A Musical Debate, by Drew Fornarola and Scott Elmegreen, authors of the recent Off-Broadway hit, Straight. Vote For Me is an irreverent, 90-minute one-act musical that pits two fictional Presidential candidates against each other, singing their way through the three-ring circus of American politics and hot-button issues, with the outcome of the debate -- and finale of the show -- determined by audience vote. The concert will take place on Saturday, June 25 at 8pm at The TimesCenter (242 West 41st Street, NYC).

Tense mysteries where not much happens in the way of real action on the stage can be problematic if the storyline proves to be too easy to figure out. Thankfully A SHRED OF EEVIDENCE by R.C. Sherriff directed by Jules Aaron at Theatre 40 is so well written and directed that you will be kept on the edge of your seat trying to figure out if the lead character really is guilty of a crime he cannot remember committing when all the circumstantial evidence points directly to him being the culprit.
