SHREK THE MUSICAL's Tony-nominated leading man Brian d'Arcy James will appear on CNBC's 'Power Lunch' on Friday, June 5th in the 1:30-2:00 p.m. half hour. James will be interviewed alongside Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of The Broadway League, about the successful Broadway season in advance of the Tony Awards on Sunday, June 7th. 'Power Lunch' airs nationally on CNBC (channel 15 in the tri-state area). Check local listings.

The cast of the Tony-nominated Best Musical SHREK THE MUSICAL will appear on a SHREK-themed episode of the Food Network 'Challenge' premiering Sunday, June 7th at 8pm. To commemorate SHREK THE MUSICAL's 100th performance, four contestants were given the task of baking a celebratory cake, each based on one character from the musical - Shrek, Donkey, Fiona and Lord Farquaad.

'The Leading Men IV,' a benefit concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, was held Monday, May 11, at 7pm at Birdland, 315 W. 44th St. As part of the long-running Broadway at Birdland series, it featured top singers from Broadway and cabaret. John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Shrek The Musical) once again hosted, and Emmy-nominated writer, host and comic Seth Rudetsky returned as musical director, along with director Alan Muraoka (NAATCO's Falsettoland).
