The Pennington Dance Group (PDG) teams up with the British Modern Dance Company, Yorke Dance Project (YDP), for a highly anticipated joint venture highlighting the unique and dynamic visions of these young, vivacious dance companies, on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 8:00 p.m. at the Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theater at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach (Supported in part by the CSULB Department of Dance); on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at PDG's new space, ARC Pasadena.

Stratford Shakespeare Festival Announces Additional Casting in Plummer, Kennedy & Therriault Led 2010 Productions

Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed revealed additional casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Chilina Kennedy, Juan Chioran, Michael Therriault and Geraint Wyn Davies for the Festival's productions of The Tempest, Evita, Kiss Me Kate, Peter Pan and Do Not Go Gentle. Nikki M. James, who was previously set to star alongside Plummer has withdrawn from the festival due to 'personal reasons.'

Culture Project has announced that 'Blueprint for Accountability,' a thought-provoking new monthly series that gathers the world's foremost political experts and today's most visionary artists in a series combining the best of investigative journalism with the best of the performing arts, will launch Sunday, May 31, 2009, at 7:00pm at The Times Center with its inaugural presentation, 'Working the Dark Side.'
