The Broadway engagement of Let It Be concludes today, Sunday, September 1 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) following 46 performances and 9 previews. The Broadway engagement of LET IT BE will conclude Sunday, September 1st at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) following 46 performances and 9 previews. At the time of closing, the Broadway production is projected to have cumulatively grossed between 2 and 2.4 million dollars, playing to over 50,000 audience members. THE JOHN MILLER QUARTET PLUS 2 will debut at The Cutting Room on Friday, February 1 for two shows after an unprecedented 21 week-run at the New York nightclub 54 Below. There will be performances at 10:00 PM and 11:30 PM. John Miller - the music and theater industry veteran best known as a bassist and music coordinator - brings together an all-star group of Broadway musicians who get together after the curtain falls to play their deep-groove favorites. In addition to Miller on bass, the show will feature Larry Saltzman on Guitar (Simon and Garfunkel, Carole King, Bette Midler, Chris Botti), John Korba on Piano (Hall & Oates, Phoebe Snow, Carly Simon, John Waite), Clint DeGanon on Drums (Stuff, Kid Rock, Elvis Costello, Saturday Night Live Band), David Mann on Tenor Sax (Tower of Power, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder), and Joe Passaro on Percussion (Aretha Franklin, Manhattan Transfer, Nina Simone, Donald Fagen). After opening October 26, 2010 at the Neil Simon theatre for an 13 week limited engagement, RAIN recouped its initial $2 million investment in just seven weeks. The show re-opened by popular demand at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on February 8, 2011, grossed $8.75 million, and has been igniting crowds nightly ever since. (more...)

RAIN cast members Steve Landes, Joey Curatolo, Joe Bithorn and Ralph Castelli honored The Actor's Fund in a special performance last night, March 27. Proceeds from the added performance got directly to The Actor's Fun to aid entertainment people in need. The Actors Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis or transition. (more...)

The producers of RAIN - A Tribute to The Beatles On Broadway announced today that a new block of tickets is now on sale for the hit show, currently playing at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Tickets for RAIN range from $25 - $120 (including a $1.50 facility fee) and can be purchased by visiting the Brooks Atkinson box office (256 W 47th St), online at www.Ticketmaster.com, or calling 877-250-2929. The performance schedule is as follows: Tuesday at 7PM; Wednesday through Saturday at 8PM with a 2pm matinee on Wednesday and Saturday; Sunday at 3PM. Although RAIN is an open-ended engagement on Broadway, tickets are now on sale through January 1, 2012. (more...)
