The Guthrie announced today that three generations of Guthrie actors will comprise the cast of its summer production of J.B. Priestley's rollicking comedy When We Are Married. Under the direction of Guthrie associate artistic director John Miller-Stephany (1776, Jane Eyre, The Constant Wife), the show will reunite many beloved Guthrie company members from the 1960s and 70s, including Barbara Bryne, Helen Carey, Patricia Conolly, Peter Michael Goetz and Linda Kelsey.

On April 18th, 2009, nearly 1,000 attendees took part on the Guthrie Theater's Kick Off to Kushner, a community wide event, which featured 70 singers from the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus premiering 'I Want More Life,' a new choral commission with text from Kushner's Angels in America and music by Michael Shaieb.

The entertainment trade paper reports 'among the three full productions of plays by Kushner -- the 'Angels in America' scribe whose work is not exactly known for its modesty of scope or running time -- is the world preem of his latest, 'The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism With a Key to the Scriptures,' which began perfs May 15th.
