The Long Beach International Film Festival (LBIFF) is pleased to announce its diverse lineup of feature-length documentaries, feature-length narrative films, and short films screening from August 1 to August 4. Drawing nearly 400 filmmaker submissions from over 20 different countries, 52 have been selected for screening.

Known for her energetic stage shows and pioneering presence as a female artist, the one-and-only Wanda Jackson - popularly known as the Queen of Rockabilly and the First Lady of Rock & Roll - has returned to Nashville to work on new music. Fellow female Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame member, Joan Jett, is producing the project. The as-yet-unnamed project is currently anticipated for a 2019 release. After decades of recording covers, Jackson hit the writing room for this project, co-writing with many hit Nashville songwriters including Angaleena Presley of the Pistol Annies. 'Ex's and Oh's' singer Elle King also contributed a song to the project.

It also debuted at #5 on the “Classical Crossover Albums” chart, #6 on the “Top DVD Music Videos” chart, #8 on the “Music Video Sales” chart, and #49 on the “Rock Albums” chart.SING FOR THE DAY! was released June 29 via Eagle Rock Entertainment on Blu-ray, CD, and Digital Audio / Video. It jumped to #2 in its second week on the “Top DVD Music Videos” chart.
