The League Of Off-Broadway Theatres And Producers is proud to announce the nominations for THE 20TH ANNUAL LUCILLE LORTEL AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT OFF-BROADWAY, which will be presented on Monday, May 2nd at Dodger Stages (340 West 50th Street) at 7 PM. Schultz, Executive Director), is proud to announce its third production of the 2004-2005 season: WHAT OF THE NIGHT, an American premiere based on the writings of Djuna Barnes, created for the stage by Jane Alexander, Noreen Tomassi, Birgitta Trommler, directed and choreographed by Ms. Trommler, and starring Ms. Alexander (The Great White Hope; Kramer vs. Kramer; Testament; The Sisters Rosenzweig). The production marks Trommler's New York directorial debut.

Schultz, Executive Director), one of New York City's leading Off-Broadway theater companies, will present 'ESCAPE: 6 WAYS TO GET AWAY,' a benefit evening of one-act plays written by Jon Robin Baitz (Ten Unknowns), John Guare (Six Degrees of Separation), Peter Hedges (What's Eating Gilbert Grape), Neil LaBute (The Mercy Seat), Tim Blake Nelson (The Grey Zone) and Wendy Wasserstein (The Heidi Chronicles).
