The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally will continue to offer a series of post-show talkbacks in conjunction with the Huffington Post Gay Voices. Part 2 is set for tonight, May 28, at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Tonight's talkback will focus on the AIDS Quilt with panelists Julie Rhoad (CEO of the Names Project/AIDS Quilt), Anne Balsamo (Names Project Board Member & Dean of New School Media Studies), Lynn Sinelli (AIDS Quilt panel maker), and Jay Lesiger (Owner of Chelsea Pines Inn & Sponsor of the AIDS Quilt Display in the Golden Lobby).

The Tony-nominated new Broadway play Mothers and Sons is proud to announce that the production has partnered with the 29th Annual AIDS Walk New York, the east coast's first and the world's largest AIDS fundraising event, on Sunday, May 18th. Four-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally will be a speaker during the opening ceremony, and Tony Award nominee Bobby Steggert will sing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' from Rogers and Hammerstein's Carousel. There will also be a special appearance by Tony and 6-time Emmy Award-winner Tyne Daly.

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, now playing at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), welcomes co-founder of The Tyler Clementi Foundation, Jane Clementi, who will be joined by Tony Award winning producer Paul Boskind (The Normal Heart) for a special post-show "Talk Out" discussion following tonight's, Wednesday, May 14th, evening performance. Jane Clementi is the mother of Tyler Clementi, the Rutgers University student whose suicide opened up an international dialogue about the bullying of LGBT youth. Since Tyler's death, the Clementi family has worked tirelessly to promote new stories of inclusion, dignity and acceptance for vulnerable youth and their families as way to honor the memory of their son, brother and friend. The discussion will begin shortly after Wednesday evening's 7pm performance, and all audience members are welcome to participate. Russell Granet, Executive Director of Lincoln Center Education (LCE), announced details today ofSummer Forum 2014, a re-envisioned professional development experience which expands on Lincoln Center's unparalleled dedication to professional growth for local, national, and international educators and artists. LCE's Summer Forum, which takes place July 7 through 18 and succeeds the previous Summer Session series, will feature in-depth and hands-on educational workshops based on LCE's core values of engagement, equity, integrity and creativity, and its approach to aesthetic education and focus on "thinking like an artist." Summer Forum is open to educators and artists of all kinds, and LCE-trained teaching artists will lead labs that explore the process of imaginative learning and discovery through works of performance and fine art, helping the participants determine how to apply what they have learned in their own classrooms, whether it be towards science, English, history or the arts. Lab topics throughout Summer Forum will include sessions on aesthetic education practices, teaching artistry to arts and Common Core, creating art in the community, and LCE's pedagogy for engaging students in problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
