Today we are talking to one of the top-tier talents in her field of producing theatre for television, the estimable Ellen Krass who is largely responsible for many of the greatest television captures of theatrical events in the last thirty years, starting with the filming of SWEENEY TODD and continuing with FOLLIES: IN CONCERT in the early 1980s, through to SWEENEY TODD: IN CONCERT, CANDIDE: IN CONCERT, COMPANY and last year's CYRANO starring Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner. Tickets to BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO - the new American play by Rajiv Joseph and starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut - will go on-sale to the general public starting Wednesday, November 17.

This January, TV Land is delivering a star-powered full hour of original comedy with the premiere of 'Retired at 35' on January 19th, 2011 at 10:30 PM ET/PT following the return of cable's #1 sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland.' 'Retired at 35' is TV Land's second original sitcom and stars veteran actors George Segal and Jessica Walter and newcomers Johnathan McClain, Josh McDermitt and Ryan Michelle Bathe. TV Land's first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' premiered last year and became basic cable's #1 sitcom of all time among the network's target audience of A24-54 and total viewers. In its 10-episode run it even out-delivered shows like 'Mad Men,' 'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' 'Top Chef' and 'Nip/Tuck.'

BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO - the new American play by Rajiv Joseph and starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut - will perform at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.) on Broadway, it has been announced by the play's producers Robyn Goodman, Kevin McCollum, Jeffrey Seller and Center Theatre Group, with previews set to begin on March 11, 2011 prior to its official opening night on March 31.
