On Saturday, October 16, at 8:00 p.m. at Kingsborough Performing Arts Center, beloved founder of the world-renowned Symphony Space, Isaiah Sheffer, will take the stage with a program created especially for KPAC.

These chefs can have their cake and make it too as the main focus of this competition is the Achilles heel of most chefs: desserts. This time the pastry chefs will see if they have what it takes to out flambe, out frost and out fudge the competition. Gail Simmons, a series judge on 'Top Chef' for the past seven seasons, takes on the hosting duties of this highly competitive series showcasing the best of the best in the world of pastry arts. Due to popular demand, the New York Philharmonic has added a fifth dinner to its series of post-concert Musical Suppers. Kurt Gutenbrunner - chef and proprietor of New York City restaurants Wallsé, Café Sabarsky, and Blaue Gans and the wine bar The Upholstery Store - will design the menu to be served on Friday, May 28, 2010.
