On Monday, January 31, The Nightlife Awards were hosted by Bruce Vilanch. The evening has no acceptance speeches -- it's just pure entertainment provided by the winners and special guest stars. The show has been hailed by The New York Times as 'The equivalent of The Tony Awards for New York Nightlife.' As always, the vast majority of the winners, chosen by the press, agreed to come to Town Hall and perform.

The Nightlife Awards has no acceptance speeches -- it's just pure entertainment provided by the winners and special guest stars. In addition to the previously announced Marc Kudisch, Emily Skinner, Daniel Reichard, Manu Narayan, Jill Paice, Jeffry Denman, William Michals, Lisa Howard, Bill Daugherty, and Sarah Jane McMahon, the cast of this unique concert that features the entire cast singing without microphones (the way it used to be done on Broadway) now also includes opera star John Easterlin, who won two Grammy Awards this year, as well as Nightlife Award winner David Colbert, and Broadway stars Tony Yazbeck and Janet Metz.
