Chris Isaacson Presents has announced Chopin Meets Broadway, the unique artistic collaboration of acclaimed vocalist Peisha McPhee and award-winning pianist Sergiu Tuhutziu for two shows only on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at 8:30pm at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood. 

Celebrating its fifth year anniversary, the Harlem Arts Festival will return to Marcus Garvey Park June 25-26th, 2016 as the official summer kick-off event for Harlem residents and New Yorkers of all ages who love the arts.

On Saturday, January 9, 2016, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) kicked off its 35th anniversary with the organization's annual Backyard Ball performance and gala. Themed 'Celebrating 35 Years Through the Lens of the Future,' the evening honored director and actress Rosie Perez and director Robert Wilson with Arison Awards, and performer, Tony Award nominee, YoungArts Master Teacher and 1997 YoungArts Winner in Theater Tony Yazbeck with the Arison Alumni Award. When I think of NYMF, I typically think of quirky musicals that would otherwise slip through the cracks of mainstream theatre. HELD MOMENTARILY: A NEW MUSICAL, with book, music, and lyrics by Oliver Houser, fits perfectly into this box, and given its previous performance history at 2014's New York International Fringe Festival, that is no surprise.

NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice” has revealed the top 12 artists, all of whom will compete for the title beginning Monday, April 13 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT).

Coaches from NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" have each selected their 12-member teams that will advance to the Battle Rounds phase of the competition.

'Held Momentarily' is a poignant new musical comedy about making connections, living in the moment, and moving on in life. Conceived by a group of classmates from LaGuardia Arts High School (the 'Fame' school), the piece was originally workshopped in January 2014 at The Producers' Club, continued on to the New York International Fringe Festival at The Sheen Center, and will now extend to the FringeNYC Encore Series at SoHo Playhouse, to be helmed by director Hunter Bird and produced by Lionel Christian and Marielle Young, today, September 11-21.
