Sundance Institute Selects Artists for 2014 Playwrights Retreat at Ucross Foundation

Sundance Institute today announced the seven artists selected for its 2014 Playwrights Retreat at Ucross Foundation. The 15th annual writing colony at the 20,000-acre working cattle ranch outside of Sheridan, WY takes place February 3-21. Under the supervision of Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Playwrights Retreat is made possible through the generosity of Ucross Foundation.

The Dance Complex offers Fall is Rising: Faculty & Friends as an Autumn offering, featuring many of its world renown faculty, with a variety of choreographic styles and genres represented. Performances will take place in the organization's Julie Ince Thompson Theatre at 536 Massachusetts Avenue, Central Square, Cambridge on October 18 and 19, 2013 at 8pm. The choreographers on the program have long associations with The Dance Complex, creating and teaching within its studios for 10, 15 or 20 years or more.

Directed by James Wan (SAW, THE CONJURING), and written by SAW scribe Leigh Whannell, INSIDIOUS stars Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne as Josh and Renai Lambert, parents whose son has fallen into a coma, following a mysterious incident in the attic. Things get much worse for the family, as their son's illness leads to a terrifying encounter with malevolent ghouls, and a journey into the realm of the dead known as 'The Further.' This will be a chance for fans to catch up with the Lambert family and their demons, before INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 hits theaters on September 13.
