The personal chronicle of one man's struggles with depression and life itself, "Perfectly Rational Lunacy" is a patchwork of confessional essays and prose poetry. This book of "oxymoronic writings" also includes biographical profiles of Mike Tyson, Marlon Brando, sideshow performer Frances O' Connor, and Orson Welles, as well as musings on such diverse subjects as Abraham Lincoln, Star Trek, Planet of the Apes, Iggy Pop, and Sylvia Plath.

These topics and others are all filtered and distilled through the author's experiences and merciless self-examination.

About the Author: Christopher Benedict is a resident of Huntington, New York on Long Island. There, he serves as a proud member of the Phantom Writers Guild, which collectively released their first effort "Amongst Us All" in 2012, and are currently working on a second volume.

A bookworm, film buff, history nerd, and loving uncle, Benedict writes candidly and passionately about his various interests and evolving journey through this this life, of weighty matters of the mind and the heart.

"Perfectly Rational Lunacy" is his first book, and he is enthusiastically involved in several upcoming projects.
