Due to popular demand, Tony, Grammy & Golden Globe Award winner Bernadette Peters and Tony & Emmy Award winner Elaine Stritch have extended their stay in the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Tony Award-winning masterpiece A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, directed by Tony Award-winner Trevor Nunn. Peters & Stritch were originally only scheduled to perform through Sunday, November 7, 2010 and will now stay with the production through its final performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 3:00 PM after 20 previews and 425 regular performances. Streep & Roberts in Talks for 'August: Osage County' Film

Deadline.com reports that Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep are in talks to star in the film adaptation of Tracy Lett's Pulitzer Prize and Tony-winning play, August: Osage County. According to the report, both are in final negotiations for the project and production timelines are being set. The team is looking for a start by early summer 2011. John Wells will direct the film, which is being adapted by Letts for the screen. (more...)

Lifetime Announces Season Contestants for 'Project Runway'

The Emmy(R) Award nominated series, Project Runway, kicks off its eighth season with 17 talented designers - the most in series history - beginning Thursday, July 29, at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime Television.
