This just in, via Twitter, theatrical hot spot Angus McIndoe will close tomorrow evening, following the restaurant's dinner service. "Plz stop in to say goodbye before we close our doors permanently after dinner Sun Jan 3. Thank you for 15 never dull yrs! -A"

Located in the heart of the Theater District in Times Square (across from The Phantom of the Opera), at 258 W 44th St the restaurant has been famous for pre and post-theater dining as well as celebrity citings aplenty, private parties and special theatrical events.

As per a NY Times story earlier this year about Angus McIndoe, "He also became friendly with some Broadway bright lights and boldface names, among them, Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, Mel Brooks, Harvey Weinstein and Frank McCourt, all of whom would later invest in his restaurant. Angus McIndoe opened at the end of 2001 and later changed its name to Angus'. Mr. McIndoe refers to it simply and ruefully as his not-for-profit restaurant in Times Square"
