PNC Bank is the new title sponsor of Blumenthal Performing Arts' flagship series next season. The 2014-2015 blockbuster Broadway season is titled PNC Broadway Lights and is made possible with support from PNC Bank.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2013 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $1,108,000, allow 39 productions extra time in the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, helping to extend the life of the play after its first run.

The Pasadena Playhouse, announced today the full cast of Vanessa Claire Stewart's STONEFACE, the fifth production of the 2013-2014 season. STONEFACE is performed June 3 to 29, 2014; the press opening is Sunday, June 8.

That's right, this season's stunning slate of plays has brought with it a slew of stars from Bryan Cranston to Daniel Radcliffe, Audra McDonald to James Franco, Tyne Daly to Denzel Washington. Multi-award-winning playwright, actor and activist Harvey Fierstein previews his new play CASA VALENTINA as well as comments on the fact he is soon to have three productions up and running concurrently on Broadway between that and his two musicals for which he wrote the book, NEWSIES and 2013 Best Musical Tony Award winner KINKY BOOTS.

CASA VALENTINA, the new play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, is currently in rehearsals at Manhattan Theatre Club. The limited engagement of Casa Valentina will begin previews on Tuesday, April 1 and open Wednesday, April 23 on Broadway at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).
