Coen Brothers to Adapt Academy-Award Winning FARGO to FX TV Series

Deadline reports that Joel and Ethan Coen have signed a deal with the FX network to adapt their Academy Award-winning film FARGO into a TV series. According to the report, the hour-long series will be 'loosely based' on the 1996 crime film. (more...)

As first reported back in the Spring of 2010, Sutton Foster and her ANYTHING GOES director Kathleen Marshall had teamed up on a reading presentation of THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, which could be gunning for a Broadway revival in the near future. In 2010, Foster starred alongside Craig Bierko in the role of James Joseph 'J.J.' Brown. Michael Riedel had reported in the New York Post at the time that Reba McEntire was being courted for the famous role of 'Molly'. (more...)

Harve Presnell, Star Of 'The Unsinkable Molly Brown,' Dies Of Cancer At 75

Actor Harve Presnell, star of stage and screen productions of 'The Unsinkable Molly Brown' has passed away from cancer at age 75. Presnell died June 30th of pancreatic cancer at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, according to Gregg Klein, Presnell's agent. (more...)
